Morden Police Officer’s Community Ball

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a fundraising organization comprised of Law Enforcement Officers dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Special Olympics.  Every year, more than 85,000 Law Enforcement Officers are involved with Law Enforcement Torch Run in 35 different nations around the globe. All funds generated locally will be filtered back to the local areas of Special Olympics. Special Olympics Manitoba offers quality sport training programs and competition to athletes with an intellectual disability from the ages of 2 years and up.

The Morden Police Officer’s Community Ball took place at the Morden Access Event Centre, 111 Gilmour Street, on April 5th, 2014 which included supper, live entertainment, and guest speaker Chief Devon Clunis of the Winnipeg Police Service.

Approximately 240 guests took part and with the support of the local business community, the MPOCB made a donation to the Law Enforcement Torch Run of $14,000. Thank you to all that helped make this event a success!
