August 3rd, 2021

At 11:35 am, police were dispatched to a residence to assist with keeping the peace.  Police attended and helped mediate the situation.

At 5:00 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding a disturbance.  Police spoke to all parties involved and helped mediate the situation.

Police observed a male passed out on the front lawn of an apartment complex around 10:15 pm.  The 31-year-old male was quite intoxicated and had nowhere to stay.  He was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober.  He was released without charges.

August 4th, 2021

 At 8:15 am, police received a report of Mischief to a vehicle.  The owner of the brown 2011 Chevrolet Malibu noticed the damage to the front windshield of the vehicle when she came out in the morning.  The damage occurred sometime overnight.

At 11:15 am, police were dispatched to an organization regarding a break and enter.  Police attended and observed damage inside the building and several items missing.  Police are continuing their investigation.

Police received a report of a theft of a Mountain bike from a residence in the 300 block of 12th Street.  Police are continuing their investigation.

Police received a report of a hit and run to a vehicle that occurred on July 31st while parked on the 300 block of 12th Street.  The driver parked her 2019 black Chevrolet Camaro and returned to find damage to the front bumper and driver’s side rear door.

August 5th, 2021

 At 2:50 am, police were dispatched to a residence regarding two people arguing and shouting.  Police attended and spoke to the residents who had been arguing but advised they would keep the noise down.  No assaults occurred and no charges were laid as a result of this incident.

At 8:25 am, police were dispatched to a business regarding a theft of copper wire.  Police are continuing their investigation.

Police received a report of a theft of a Mountain bike from a residence in the 900 block of Parkhill Street.  The bike went missing sometime between August 1st and August 2nd. Police are continuing their investigation.

August 6th, 2021

At 11:43 pm, police were dispatched to a residence to assist a mother in locating her teenage son. Police located the teenager and returned him to his mother.

August 7th, 2021

Police received a call at 3:59 pm, regarding an intoxicated male wanting to drive away from a residence. Police attended and retrieved the individual’s keys to prevent him from driving. The keys were returned to the individual when he was sober.

Police received a complaint of four people refusing to leave the water park at Colert Beach. Police attended and located two males who agreed to pack up and leave for the night.

August 8th, 2021

At 6:17 am, police were dispatched to the corner of Gilmour Street and 6th Street in regards to a female that was passed out. Police attended and the female was transported to a medical healthcare facility to be assessed.

Police received a report of a theft of a Mountain bike from a residence in the 900 block of Parkhill Street.  Police are continuing their investigation.
