- One ticket for As a Novice Driver in the Learner Stage, Operate a Vehicle without a Supervising Driver which carries a fine of $203
- One ticket for Drive While Disqualified which carries a fine of $672 and a 30-day vehicle impound
- One ticket for Drive an Unregistered Vehicle which carries a fine of $298
October 18th, 2021
At 1:00 pm, police were dispatched to a residence for an individual that was suicidal. Police and EMS arrived on scene and the individual was transported to a medical healthcare facility for treatment.
October 20th, 2021
At 8:50 am, police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Gilmour Street and Nelson Street. A vehicle was travelling westbound on Gilmour Street when another vehicle attempted to cross the intersection travelling northbound of Nelson Street and the vehicles collided. Both drivers did not require medical attention and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Police, with the assistance of the Regional Support Tactical Team, executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrants on two locations in Morden. As a result, a 30 year old Morden resident was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was released on an Appearance Notice to attend to Morden Provincial Court in November.
At 8:40 pm, police were dispatched to a residence for an individual that was suicidal. Police arrived on scene and the individual was transported to a medical healthcare facility for treatment.
October 21st, 2021
At 2:10 am, police were dispatched to a residence regarding a noise complaint. Police attended and spoke to the resident who agreed to turn the music down. No charges were laid as a result of this incident.
October 22nd, 2021
At 12:15 am, police were dispatched to a residence regarding an intoxicated male who was causing a disturbance. The 55 year old male was quite intoxicated and had nowhere to stay. He was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober. He was released without charges.
October 23rd, 2021
Police were dispatched to a residence regarding a family dispute. Police attended and spoke to the brothers who were having an argument which escalated to one brother uttering threats and the other brother carrying a prohibited weapon. Police seized the prohibited weapon and helped mediate the situation. No charges were laid in this incident.
October 24th, 2021
At 8:40 pm, police received a request to conduct a well being check for an individual that had been making suicidal comments. Police attended the residence and spoke to the individual who had no thoughts of harming themself.
At 8:50 pm, police were dispatched to a residence to conduct a well being check on a female who had been making suicidal comments and was intoxicated and had children in her care. Police attended and spoke to the female who was intoxicated and advised she would like to attend to a healthcare facility for treatment. As police were assisting the female with making arrangements to attend the hospital, she became increasingly agitated and began yelling at police and threatening to cause self harm. The female was placed under arrest and became aggressive with police and assaulted an officer during the incident. She was lodged in cells until sober and could be brought to a healthcare facility for an assessment. Police are continuing their investigation.
