November 3rd, 2025  – November 17th, 2025

During this reporting period, MPS issued:

  • One by-law ticket for Parking in No Parking Zone which carries a fine of $100
  • One ticket for Drive while Disqualified which carries a fine of $672 along with a 90-day vehicle suspension
  • Two tickets for Use Cellular Telephone while Driving a Vehicle which carries a fine of $672 along with a 3-day driving suspension
  • One ticket for Display Number Plate that does not match Registered Vehicle which carries a fine of $113
  • Four tickets for Speeding
  • One written warning for Failing to Stop at Red Light

November 4th, 2025

At 6:00am, police were dispatched to a local residence for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. Police arrived and arrested the 32-year-old female under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells. She was released once sober without charges.

At 3:00pm, police were dispatched to a business for a report of theft. Police retrieved the video footage and are continuing their investigation.

November 7th, 2025

At 12:00am, police were dispatched to a residence for a report of pumpkins thrown at the front door which shattered the door. Police are continuing their investigation.

November 10th, 2025

Police along with Morden Fire and Resuce and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Thornhill and 6th Street for a 2-vehicle collision. Both vehicle occupants were treated by EMS and one driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

November 11th, 2025

At 10:40 am, police observed a male outside the police station punching and kicking the police cruisers and office doors. Police spoke with the male who was highly intoxicated and the 45-year-old male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells. He was released from cells once sober with no charges.

November 14th, 2025

Police received an endorsed warrant for Sheldon HARPER for breaching a Probation Order.

November 15th, 2025

While on an MPI roadwatch, police observed a vehicle with a burnt out headlight. Police conducted a traffic stop and observed an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle. Police made a demand for the driver to provide a sample of their breath on the Roadside Screening device which resulted in a fail reading. The driver was issued a 90-day driving suspension and a 30-day impoundment of the vehicle along with a $700 fine.

November 16th, 2025

At 11pm, police were dispatched to a residence for an assault in progress. Police arrived on scene and arrested a 49-year-old male for assault. He was charged and remanded into custody in appear in Winnipeg on November 17.
