March 16th, 2026
At 1:00 pm, police were dispatched to a local business for a report of a male stealing product and leaving the store. The same male had been observed by the business surveillance system to have previously stolen product over the preceding few days. Police attended to the business and located the male, who at the request of the business was issued a banning notice.
March 17th, 2026
While on general patrol, police observed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign. Police conducted a traffic stop and upon further investigation it was determined that the passenger of the vehicle had warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested on the strength of the warrants and released on an Appearance Notice to attend Winnipeg Court Office in May.
March 18th, 2026
At 4:33 pm, police were dispatched to a local business for a report of a male attempting to steal product from the store. Police attended and located the same male within the store, who admitted to placing objects within his jacket. At the request of the business, the male was issued a banning notice.
March 19th, 2026
Police were dispatched to a local residence for a female causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. Police arrived and arrested the 48-year-old female under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged her into cells until sober. She was released without charges.
At 9:00 pm, police were dispatched to a residence for a female kicking at a door trying to get inside. Police arrived and arrested the 56-year-old female under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged her into cells. She was released once sober without charges.
March 20th, 2026
While on general patrol, police were dispatched to the intersection of Thornhill and Nelson Street for a report of a 2-vehicle collision. The accident was the result of one vehicle turning south bound from Thornhill Street and misjudging how far away an eastbound vehicle was. Police arrived on scene, and no injuries were reported; particulars were exchanged, and police cleared.
Police received a report of a male stealing from a business. Police observed surveillance video and located the male and confirmed that he stole items. The business requested a banning notice and the same was provided to the male.
March 21st, 2026
At 3:30 am, police were dispatched to a local business for a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. Police arrived on scene and arrested the 27-year-old male under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells. He was released without charges once sober.
