During this reporting period, MPS issued:
- Five tickets for Speeding
- Two tickets for Fail to Stop at Railway Crossing with a Stop Sign which carries a fine to $298
- One ticket for Disobey Traffic Control Device namely Stop Sign which carries a fine of $203
April 29th, 2025
Police received a call requesting police assistance in a medical emergency. Police arrived on scene along with EMS, where a female was transported to the local hospital for assessment.
May 1st, 2025
At 7:20 pm, police received a report of a male and female causing a disturbance by yelling and screaming on a sidewalk. Police attended and arrested the 54-year-old female and the 31-year-old male under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged them in cells until sober.
May 2nd, 2025
Police received a report of a male walking on the street who appeared to be bleeding. Police attended and found the male with a large laceration on his hand. EMS attended and transported the male to the hospital for assessment.
At 8:30 pm, police were dispatched to a local business for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Police arrived and located a 54-year-old female, she was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells. She was released once sober with no charges.
May 3rd, 2025
Police received a report of a female inside a residence refusing to leave and causing a disturbance. Police attended and found the 21-year-old female intoxicated. She was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and was lodged in cells until sober. She was released without charges.
