August 31st, 2026
At 5:30 pm, police received a call requesting a wellbeing check on a female who was threatening to harm herself. Police attended and spoke to the female who was subsequently transported by EMS to a healthcare facility for an assessment.
September 1st, 2026
Police were dispatched to a local residence for an intoxicated male walking down the street. The 32-year-old male was arrested under the Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act. He was released from custody once sober and without charges.
September 2nd, 2026
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Mountain Street and Parkhill Drive for an intoxicated male sleeping on the sidewalk. Police attended and the male was given a ride home and left with a sober adult.
At 5:15 pm, police were dispatched to assist EMS with an intoxicated male with a cut on his back. Once cleared by EMS the 25-year-old male was arrested under the Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act. He was released from custody once sober and without charges.
September 3rd, 2026
At 3:10 pm, police were dispatched to a local business for a report of shoplifting. Police attended and identified a male suspect. At the request of the business a banning notice was issued.
At 9:10 pm, police arrested a 33-year-old male on the strength of a warrant for Sexual Assault and Failing to Comply with Release Order. The male was later released on a Release Order to attend Winnipeg Provincial Court in October.
September 4th, 2026
Police received a report of a gas drive off. Police attended the business and reviewed the surveillance footage and are continuing their investigation.
September 5th, 2026
At 1:45 am, police received a report of a highly intoxicated female who was causing a disturbance. Police arrived on scene and knew the female to be on conditions not to consume alcohol. The 25-year-old female was arrested for Failing to Comply with Undertaking and was released once sober on an Appearance Notice to attend Morden Provincial Court in December.
September 6th, 2026
At 1:00 am, police were dispatched to a local business for a report of an intoxicated male who was threatening to harm himself. While police were searching for the male police learned that the male had jumped into the creek. EMS and Police assisted the male and transported him to the local hospital for assessment.
