On September 2nd, 2024 as part of an ongoing drug investigation, members of the Morden Police Service, along with the Regional Support Tactical Team executed a search warrant at a residence in Morden. Once inside the residence police located the suspect who was arrested and transported to the Morden Police Service. Officers conducted a search of the residence and located Cocaine, Methamphetamine, a digital scale, over 1000 unused baggies, a replica handgun, a “butterfly” knife, a homemade .22 caliber firearm commonly referred to as a “Zip gun”, ammunition, cash and other drug related paraphernalia.
As a result of this investigation, 19-year-old Teagan Donaldson of Morden has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Prohibited Device, Unsafe Storage of a Firearm and Ammunition, as well as Possession of Goods Obtained by a Crime. The accused was remanded into custody to appear in Winnipeg Provincial Court.
