February 22nd, 2022-February 28th, 2022 

During this reporting period, MPS issued:

  • One ticket for Drive While Disqualified which carries a fine of $672 and a 30-day vehicle impound
  • One ticket for Fail to Display Correct Number and Type of Number Plate which carries a fine of $113
  • Two tickets for Drive an Unregistered Vehicle which carries a fine of $298
  • One ticket for Unlawful Transportation of Liquor in a Vehicle which carries a fine of $237

February 22nd, 2022

Police received a request to conduct a well being check on a female who had missed work for the past three days.  Police located the female who was fine and was going to contact her place of work.

At 9:40 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding reports of banging and screaming coming from inside the home.  Police attended and spoke to the homeowner who advised that her children were wrestling and she was attempting to break it up. 

February 23rd, 2022

Police received a report of mischief to a vehicle that occurred on February 18th while parked in a parking lot near the intersection of 7th Street and North Railway Street.  The driver parked his 2001 green Ford Windstar and returned to find damage along the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Police received a report of a hit and run to a vehicle that occurred on February 16th between 10:00 am and noon while parked in the Co-op grocery store parking lot.  The driver parked her 2005 grey Pontiac Grand Prix and returned to find damage on the driver’s side rear door of the vehicle.

At 4:30 pm, police were dispatched to an accident near the intersection of Thornhill and 19th Street.  Police attended and observed a semi was stuck in the ditch.  EMS was on scene and advised the driver was fine.  Police assisted with traffic control until the semi truck and trailer were towed from the ditch.

February 24th, 2022

At 9:50 am, police received a call regarding a noise complaint.  The caller advised that his neighbor has his loud music playing constantly.  Police attended and spoke to the subject who advised he would keep the music down.

February 26th, 2022

At 7:45 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding an intoxicated male.  The caller wanted the male removed from her residence.  Police attended and the male was removed from the home and released to a sober adult.

February 27th, 2022

Police received a request to conduct a well being check on a male who was sending concerning photos to friends.  Police spoke to the male who was advised he was having an argument with the caller and had no intentions of harming himself.
