- One ticket for Drive an Unregistered Vehicle which carries a fine of $298
- One ticket for Speeding (72 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone) which carries a fine of $338
February 6th, 2024
Police received a report of a hit and run to a vehicle that occurred on January 26th while parked in a parking lot at Lake Minnewasta. The driver parked their 2016 white Acura Integra and returned to find damage on the front bumper on the passenger side.
February 7th, 2024
Police received a report of a theft from motor vehicle which occurred while the vehicle was parked on the 100 block of 16th Street. The caller advised that money was taken from the vehicle.
February 8th, 2024
At 11:20 pm, police were dispatched to the 400 block of 15th Street regarding a suspicious male who was seen going through vehicles parked on the street. The suspect was located shortly after and arrested for Theft Under $5000. The 28 year-old Morden resident was released on an Undertaking to attend Morden Provincial Court in April.
February 10th, 2024
Police received a complaint from a victim who reported that they were assaulted and had their phone broken by an unknown suspect. Through subsequent investigation police were able to identify the suspect, who was later arrested for Assault and Mischief Under $5000. The 19 year-old Morden resident was released on an Undertaking to attend Morden Provincial Court in April.
At 4:20 pm, police received a call regarding a break and enter to a residence. The caller reported that a male was inside a residence that he had previously been evicted from the home. Police attended and arrested the 48 year-old Morden resident. He was charged with Break and Enter and released on an Undertaking to attend to Morden Provincial Court in April.
February 11th, 2024
At 2:00 pm, police received a call regarding a female screaming and being attacked in a nearby room. Police attended and observed a female to have injuries consistent with an assault. The suspect was identified and arrested for Assault Cause Bodily Harm. The male also had a warrant of arrest from another police agency. Police are continuing their investigation.
Police received a report of a white CCM bike being stolen from a residence in the 900 block of Wardrop Street. The caller advised that the bike was last seen two days ago, locked at the bicycle stand near the residence.
