Police received a report of a fraud. The caller stated that he received text messages from his phone company saying that he overpaid on his last phone bill. The caller gave his card number and social insurance number. The caller is out $700
Police received a call reporting a scam call. The caller stated that she received a call saying that she won a contest, the caller is out $2500.
January 19th, 2022
Police were dispatched to a local residence for a reported grease fire. Police arrived on scene as well as Morden Fire and Rescue and EMS, the fire was controlled in the kitchen. Police cleared of the scene.
January 21st, 2023
Police were dispatched to a local address for a reported intoxicated male. When police arrived and spoke with male and there was a strong odor of liquor as well he was unable to provide a home address. The male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober, he was released without charges.
January 23rd, 2023
Police received a call reporting an intoxicated male knocking at house doors. Police arrived and located the male walking on the road highly intoxicated. He was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober.
