July 13th, 2026 – July 20th, 2026

During this reporting period, MPS issued:

  • One ticket for Disobey Traffic Control Device namely Stop Sign which carries a fine of $203
  • One ticket for Drive Unregistered Vehicle which carries a fine of $298
  • One ticket for Possess Not Manitoba Marked Tobacco which carries a fine of $2542
  • Three tickets for Disobey Traffic Control Device namely Red Light which carries a fine of $203
  • Four tickets for Speeding

July 13th, 2026

At 1:15pm, police received a report of a theft from a local business. Police obtained video footage and identified the male, subsequently serving a banning notice on the male at the request of the business.

At 3:50pm, police were dispatched to local businesses for a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. Police attended and arrested a 32-year-old male under the Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act. The male was lodged in cells and released once sober without charges.

July 15th, 2026

At 2:30am, police were dispatched to an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Police located the female and knew her to be on conditions to abstain from alcohol. While arresting the female she assaulted Police. The female was arrested for Failing to Comply with an Undertaking and Assault Police. She was lodged in cells until sober and released on an Appearance Notice.

At 2pm, police were dispatched to a local business for a report of a male highly intoxicated. Police attended and the 32-year-old male was arrested for Failing to Comply with an Undertaking and Failing to Comply with a  Probation Order. He was released once sober on an Appearance Notice to attend Morden Provincial Court in October.

July 16th, 2026

While on general patrol, police conducted a traffic stop on an erratic driver. The driver was issued a roadside breath demand, however the 32-year-old driver refused to provide a sample. The driver was arrested for Failing to Comply with Breath Demand and his vehicle was towed from the scene. He was released on an Appearance Notice to attend Morden Provincial Court in October and issued a 90-day driving suspension along with a $700 fine.

July 17th, 2026

At 4:30am, police were dispatched to a local residence for a report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Police arrived and arrested the 56-year-old female under the Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act. She was released from cells once sober without charges.

July 19th, 2026

At 2:10am, Police were dispatched to a local residence for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Police located the female and knew her to be on conditions to abstain from alcohol. The female was arrested for Failing to Comply with an Undertaking and released once sober on an Appearance Notice to attend Morden Provincial Court in October.

At 6:06pm while on general patrol, police conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offence. Police spoke to the driver and after further investigation learned that one of the passengers had a Canada Wide Warrant and conditions. A 43-year-old male was arrested on the strength of that warrant and charged with Failing to Comply with a Release Order.
