Police received a report of someone breaking their vehicle window during the night. There was video footage of the mischief, and the suspect was identified. The 30-year-old male was charged with mischief and released on an Undertaking to attend court in October.
July 22nd, 2025
At 1:00am, police were dispatched to a report of a female laying on the road under a blanket. Police arrived on scene along with EMS, the female was transported to the local hospital for assessment.
July 23rd , 2025
At 12:00am, police received a call requesting police assistance with a male who was threatening to harm himself. Police attended and spoke to the male who was subsequently transported to a healthcare facility for an assessment.
July 25th, 2025
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Thornhill and Mountain Street for a 2-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported and the vehicles drivable. Police cleared.
July 26th, 2025
While on general patrol, police located a female passed out in front of a local business. The 20-year-old female was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells. She was released without charges once sober.
At 5:30pm, police were dispatched to a local residence for a report of a male passed out on their front lawn. The 19-year-old was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober. He was released without charges.
Police received a report of a male taking a vehicle without permission and was known to be on a release order. The 36-year-old male was located and arrested for 4 counts of failing to comply with Release Order and Take Motor Vehicle without consent. He was remanded into custody.
