March 18th, 2024
MPS were dispatched to a local residence in regard to a male causing a disturbance. Police arrived to find a 24-year-old male to be on release conditions and he was arrested for Failing to Comply with Release Order x3. He was subsequently remanded into custody.
Police received a report of a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle at a business and found a 23-year-old male sleeping behind the wheel while parked with the vehicle running. The driver was arrested for Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle and provided breath samples over the legal limit. The accused was released on an Appearance Notice once sober.
March 20th, 2024
Police were dispatched to a local residence for a fight in progress. Police arrived to find the 38-year-old female to have bruising and swelling on her face. A 44-year-old male was arrested for Assault and Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and was released on an Undertaking to attend Morden Provincial Court in May.
March 21st, 2024
At 3:12am, police received a complaint of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Police arrived and arrested a 35-year-old female under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. She was released without charges once sober.
March 24th, 2024
Police were dispatched to a local business for an intoxicated male refusing to leave. The 22-year-old male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and released without charges once sober.
March 25th, 2024
At 4:00am, Police were dispatched to a residence for a break and enter in progress. Police arrived to find a suspect who was in the back yard and had smashed the back door window of the residence. The 29-year-old male was arrested, and police are continuing their investigation.
