During this reporting period, MPS issued:
- One ticket for Drive an Unregistered Vehicle which carries a fine of $298
- Eight tickets for Speeding
- One ticket for Failing to Stop at a Railway Crossing which a stop sign is erect which carries a fine of $298
- One By-Law ticket for Failure to Clean up Animal Excrement which carries a fine of $150
- One ticket for Passing Emergency Vehicle Stopped using Emergency Lights Failing to Comply with Speed Requirements which carries a fine of $298
November 4th, 2024
While on general patrol, police observed a vehicle leaving a local bar and knew the male to be on conditions. Police conducted a traffic stop which resulted in 3 tickets being issued. One ticket for drive while disqualified which carries a fine of $672, one ticket for unlawful transportation of liquor in motor vehicle, and one ticket for failing to comply with licence restrictions. The vehicle was impounded for 30-days.
November 6th, 2024
While on general patrol, police observed a vehicle without the taillights on. Police conducted a traffic stop and observed an odor of liquor coming from the driver as well as the driver had a youth in the passenger seat. Police made a demand for the driver to provide a sample of their breath on the Roadside Screening device which resulted in a fail reading. The driver was issued a 90-day driving suspension and a 30-day impoundment of the vehicle along with a $700 administrative penalty.

Police received 4 calls within an hour in the same neighborhood regarding damage to properties. Police conducted a search and used a police drone with negative results. Anyone with information please contact the Morden Police Service.

While on general patrol, police conducted a traffic stop and detected an odor of liquor coming from the driver. Police made a demand for the driver to provide a sample of their breath on the Roadside Screening device which resulted in a warn reading. The driver was issued a 72-hour driving suspension and a 3-day impoundment of the vehicle along with a $400 administrative penalty.

While on general patrol, police conducted a traffic stop and detected an odor of liquor coming from the driver. Police made a demand for the driver to provide a sample of their breath on the Roadside Screening device which resulted in a reading over the 0 BAC restriction on his licence. The driver was issued a 24-hour driving suspension and a Fail to Comply with Licence Restriction ticket which carries a fine of $203.
November 10th, 2024
While on general patrol, police conducted a traffic stop and detected an odor of liquor coming from the driver. Police made a demand for the driver to provide a sample of their breath on the Roadside Screening Device which resulted in a Fail reading. The driver was issued a 90-day driving suspension and a 30-day vehicle impoundment along with a $700 administration penalty.

At 2:20 am, police received a call requesting police assistance with a male who was threatening to harm himself. Police attended and spoke to the male who was subsequently transported to a healthcare facility for an assessment.
