October 20th, 2025 – November 3rd, 2025

During this reporting period, MPS issued:

  • One ticket for Disobey Traffic Control Device namely Stop Sign which carries a fine of $203
  • Two By Law tickets for Parked Contrary to Signage which carries a fine of $100
  • One By Law ticket for Loud Music which carries a fine of $100
  • One ticket for Drive Without Valid Drivers Licence which carries a fine of $298
  • Nine tickets for Speeding
  • One ticket for Disobey Traffic Control Device namely Red Light which carries a fine of $203
  • Two tickets for Drive Unregistered Vehicle which carries a fine of $298

October 20th, 2025

At 5:06 pm, police received a request to conduct a wellbeing check on a male who was intoxicated.  Police attended and spoke to the male who was intoxicated but was not a danger to himself or others.

October 21st, 2025

At 12:15 am, police were dispatched to a residence regarding loud music coming from one of the units.  Police attended and advised the resident to turn the music off.

October 25th, 2025

At 6:30 am, police were dispatched to a residence regarding a male and female assaulting each other.  Members attended and spoke to both parties who admitted that they were fighting.  Both suspects were arrested for Assault and released on Undertakings to attend Court in January.

October 26th, 2025

While on general patrol, police observed damage to a storage unit.  The renter of the unit had damage to their vehicle consistent with the damage to the storage unit.  Police are continuing their investigation.

October 28th, 2025

While on general patrol, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an improper muffler and window tint. The 21-year-old male was issued an Appearance Notice to attend Morden Provincial Court in January.

At 7:00pm, police were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Thornhill Street. Police arrived on scene and determined that there were no injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

October 30th, 2025

Police were dispatched to a local residence for a wellbeing check on a female. Police attended and spoke with the female who was later transported to the local hospital for assessment.

While on general patrol, police observed a fight in progress outside of a local establishment. Police broke up the fight and both males declined charges. As police were talking with the males, they observed a controlled substance on the 31-year-old male. He was arrested for Failing to Comply with a Release Order and Possess Controlled Substance. The male was released on an Appearance Notice to attend court in January.
