September 26th, 2022 – October 3rd, 2022

September 27th, 2022

At 7:50 pm, police were dispatched to a local business regarding an alarm.  Police attended and spoke to the employees who advised there was an intoxicated female in the building that they would like removed from the property.  The 52 year old female was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober.  She was later released without charges.

At 7:50 pm, police received a call regarding an intoxicated male and female harassing people inside a local business. Police attended and located the male who was intoxicated and was known to police to be on conditions to not consume alcohol.  The 60 year old male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and for Failing to Comply with his Undertaking and lodged in cells until sober.  He was released on an Appearance Notice to attend the Morden Provincial Court in December.

September 28th, 2022

Police issued a warrant of arrest for 46 year old Arlin Flores for failing to attend to the Morden Police Service for Identification purposes on September 22nd and September 27th, 2022.

Police issued a warrant of arrest for 25 year old Tyler Thorvaldson for failing to attend to the Morden Police Service for Identifiction purposes on September 27th, 2022.

Police received a warrant of arrest for 53 year old Joseph Roger Maurice Sicard for failing to attend Morden Provincial Court on September 27th, 2022.

September 29th, 2022

Police received a report of a hit and run to a vehicle that occurred on September 26th while parked in a parking lot at the corner of Stephen Street and 2nd Street in Morden.  The driver parked her maroon Mitsubishi Lancer and returned to find damage to the passenger side front bumper.

October 2nd, 2022

Police were dispatched to the corner of 2nd Street and Thornhill Street for a 3 vehicle collision.  The driver of a grey Pontiac G5 was stopped waiting to make a left hand turn onto 2nd Street when she was rear ended by a red Dodge Caravan.  The red Dodge Caravan was then rear ended by a grey Dodge Dakota.  Morden Fire and Rescue and EMS were on scene and two people were transported to hospital for observation.  Two of the vehicles were towed from the scene.
