May 11th, 2026
Police were dispatched to a local business for a report of a theft. Police attended and identified the individual from the security footage. The subject was located and the stolen items were retrieved. The business owner declined charges and police cleared.
At 5:00 pm, police were dispatched to the intersection of 9th Street and Stephen Street for a report of a bike colliding with a motor vehicle. Police arrived on scene and no injuries were reported and both parties exchanged information. The accident was the result of the driver failing to properly observe the intersection prior to proceeding.
May 12th, 2026
Police were dispatched to a local business for a report of an intoxicated female. Police attended and located the 45-year-old female, she was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells. She was released once sober without charges.
At 6:00 pm, police were dispatched to the intersection of 11th and Thornhill Street for a 2-vehicle collision. Police arrived on scene and no injuries were reported, however one vehicle was towed from the scene. The accident was the result of one car rear ending other while waiting to an intersection.
May 15th, 2026
At 2:00 am, police were dispatched to a local business for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Police arrived on scene and arrested the 30-year-old female under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. She was lodged in cells and released without charges once sober.
May 16th, 2026
Police received a report that a male had broken into a business and stolen items. Police were able to identify the suspect and the investigation is continuing.
At 11:45 pm, police were dispatched to a local residence for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Police arrived and arrested the 32-year-old female under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act, and she was lodged into cells. She was released once sober without charges.
