During this reporting period, MPS:

  • Conducted 1 compliance check for travelers who were under a Mandatory Isolation Order.

During this reporting period, MPS issued:

  • One ticket for Drive without a Valid Driver’s Licence which carries a fine of $298
  • Two tickets for Drive an Unregistered Vehicle which carries a fine of $298

March 28th, 2022

At 11:50 pm, police were dispatched to a local business regarding a male attempting to break a window.  Police attended and spoke to the male who was intoxicated and attempting to open the door however the business was closed.  The alarm was triggered however no damage was noted to the building.  The male was provided a ride home.

March 29th, 2022

At 8:20 am, police received several complaints of a male yelling and swearing at people on North Railway Street. Police attended and issued a verbal warning to the male.

March 31st, 2022

Police received a report of a hit and run to a vehicle that occurred on January 14th while parked in the Morden Co-op grocery parking lot.  The driver parked his 2007 brown Toyota Rav4 and returned to find damage on the rear bumper. 

April 1st, 2022

At 5:30 pm, police were dispatched to the Conner Hill area regarding several kids riding quads with no helmets.  Police attended and spoke with the kids and parents. No charges were laid as a result.

April 3rd, 2022

Police received a report of a vehicle passing the caller on the wrong side of the road.  Police located the vehicle and issued a verbal warning for the incident.
