March 30th, 2026 – April 7th, 2026

During this reporting period, MPS issued: 

  • One By-Law ticket for Park Facing Oncoming Traffic which carries a fine of $100 
  • One ticket for Speeding 

March 30th, 2026 

At 10:05 am, police were dispatched to a local business for an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. Police arrived and arrested the 32-year-old male under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. He was lodged in cells until sober and released without charges. 

April 2nd, 2026 

At 10:00 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding a female who had taken pills and was intoxicated.  Police attended along with EMS and located a heavily intoxicated female inside the apartment.  She declined medical attention and was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. She was lodged in cells until sober and released without charges. 

April 3rd, 2026 

Police were dispatched to a residence as the caller believed someone was intoxicated and arguing at the home.  Police attended and observed an intoxicated female causing a disturbance by yelling and swearing.  She was arrested for causing a disturbance and lodged in cells until sober.  She was released without charges. 

April 4th, 2026 

At 2:30 pm, police were flagged down by a member of the public who pointed out a male who appeared to be unconscious on a bench.  The 32-year-old male was heavily intoxicated and arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. He was lodged in cells until sober and released without charges. 

April 5th, 2026 

Police were dispatched to a local business regarding an intoxicated male.  Police attended and arrested the 20-year male under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. He was lodged in cells until sober and released without charges. 

April 6th, 2026 

At 5:35 pm, police observed a male known to police to be in a location that he is on conditions to not attend.  He was arrested for Failing to Comply with his Undertaking and released on an Appearance Notice to attend court in June.
