Morden Police target drug activity in ongoing enforcement efforts

Over the past month, investigators with the Morden Police Service have successfully
detected and arrested subjects who have been actively involved with trafficking of illegal
drugs within the City of Morden, resulting in the following arrests and seizures:


 4 subjects charged
 32.7 grams of methamphetamine seized
 15.3 grams of cocaine seized
 $870 Canadian currency seized
 Drug paraphernalia seized


On October 1st, 2025, members of the Morden Police Service, along with the Regional
Support Tactical Team, conducted a search warrant at a local hotel. Located in the
room were numerous items related to drug trafficking along with 14.5 grams of cocaine.
Carmelle Baker of Morden was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking
cocaine. Baker was released on an undertaking with conditions.


On October 9th, 2025, members of the Morden Police Service conducted a traffic stop
on a black Pontiac Pursuit. The lone female occupant was arrested, and a subsequent
search resulted in over 24 grams of methamphetamine being seized.


Theresa Hall of Morden was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking
methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and proceeds obtained by crime.
Hall was released on an undertaking with conditions.


On October 20th, 2025, members of the Morden Police Service were on general patrol in
the vicinity of Thornhill Street and 1st Street. Police noted a vehicle within a parking lot
that narrowly missed colliding with another vehicle. Police conducted a traffic stop and
upon a brief investigation PSD Ice was deployed to the scene to conduct a K9 search.
6.1 grams of methamphetamine was seized along with paraphernalia consistent with
drug trafficking.


Charline Mulholland of Morden was charged with possession for the purpose of
trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a
weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with a release order. Mulholland
was remanded into custody.


Michael Enns of Morden was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking
methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with
an undertaking. Enns was remanded into custody.


These three events help to illustrate the hard work and dedication demonstrated by the
members of the Morden Police Service to keeping the community safe for its residents.
