At 8:30 pm, police received a call regarding a male travelling at a high rate of speed and pulling the hand brake while entering the parking lot of a local business. The caller advised there were children playing nearby. The driver of the vehicle was located and issued a verbal warning for his driving.
At 11:30 pm, police received a call regarding an intoxicated female causing a disturbance in a residence. Police attended and the female had left the residence. While searching for the female, police received a second call to attend back to the same residence regarding an intoxicated male who was yelling and screaming at the caller. The male was intoxicated and had nowhere to stay. He was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober. He was released without charges.
