On June 10, 2022 at 9:30am, members of the Morden Police Service were dispatched to a local business regarding an assault. Police attended and located the suspect, subsequently placing him under arrest. During a search the suspect was found to be in possession of almost 3 grams of methamphetamine. The 31-year-old Morden resident was charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and released on an Appearance Notice to attend Morden Provincial Court in August. The victim did not wish to pursue assault charges.
