At 9:15 am, police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of 1st Street and Thornhill Street. A vehicle was travelling westbound on Thornhill Street when it collided with a vehicle attempting to turn northbound onto 1st Street. Neither driver sustained any injuries, however, both vehicles were towed from the scene.
At 3:00 pm, police were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of 7th Street regarding a collapsed ceiling. Police attended, along with Morden Fire, and the building was evacuated and no one was injured. Damage appears to be caused by a broken water line.
Morden Police Service received a call requesting a well-being check on a male who had made vague suicidal comments. Police attended and spoke with the male who stated that he had no intentions of harming himself and did not require police assistance.
At 9:30 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding a family dispute. Police attended and helped mediate the situation. One member of the household left the residence for the night.
