At 4:02 am, police received a call from a female stating that her boyfriend was intoxicated and causing problems at her residence. Police attended and learned that the male had left the caller’s apartment to go to another unit. Police located him a short time later. He was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and transported to the Morden Police Service. He was lodged in cells overnight until sober and released the next day without charges.
A female attended the office to request a well-being check on a male friend. The woman stated that the male had been talking to mutual friends on the phone when the call was suddenly disconnected. Several attempts were made to contact the male but the calls went unanswered. Police attended the male’s residence and spoke with a family member of the male who confirmed that he was well and currently out walking.
