Police received a report of a scam phone call. The caller advised they received a call from BellMTS advising they were going to receive a $25 gift but they needed to provide their Social Insurance Number and Driver’s Licence number. The caller provided the numbers and later realized this was a scam.
At 3:50 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding an assault. Police attended and spoke to both parties and they advised they were play fighting and all was fine.
