At 12:30 am, police were dispatched to a residence regarding an assault. Police attended and spoke to the caller and his wife who advised that a female and unknown male attended to their location and started throwing things around. Both the caller and his wife were hit with items and injured. EMS attended the scene and both victims were transported to the hospital to be assessed. Police located and arrested the two suspects who were heavily intoxicated. The victims of the assault did not wish to provide a statement or proceed with charges. The suspects were lodged in cells until sober and released without charges.
At 7:00 pm, police were dispatched to a local business regarding a female crying and banging on the walls of the business. Police attended and spoke to the female who advised she had an argument with her boyfriend and was upset. There were no assaults reported and police helped to mediate the situation.
