At 3:29 pm, police were dispatched to Thornhill Street and Nelson Street for an accident involving a cyclist that was hit by a vehicle. Police attended and spoke with the cyclist who was conscious and advised he had injured his leg. The driver of the vehicle stated that she stopped at the stop sign and began driving southbound through the intersection and struck the cyclist who was driving eastbound in the curb lane. The cyclist was transported to Boundary Trails Health Centre for treatment.
