At 3:10 pm, police received a call from an individual who had witnessed a hit and run on Elam Street. The witness stated that she observed a grey 2020 GMC Sierra back into a parked blue 2012 Ford Fusion. The driver of the truck got out of the vehicle and walked around the Focus and then left. Police attended the scene and spoke with the victim who confirmed the damage to his vehicle was new. Police spoke with the suspect who was apologetic and did not realize there had been damage. Police assisted in exchanging particulars and instructed both parties to report with Manitoba Public Insurance.
Police received a complaint from a female stating that she was receiving messages on social media, from a male. The female stated that she felt uncomfortable with the messages and was seeking advice. Police issued a verbal warning to the male and instructed the female to block him.
