At 12:00 am, police observed a large out-of-control fire burning in a field west of Morden. The fire started crossing the road due to the winds and looked to be getting more severe. Morden Fire arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire which had been started by a previously burned pile of bushes that reignited. The current Fire Danger Level for Morden is 3. At 4:40 am, police were dispatched to a local business regarding damage to the property. Police attended and the damage was due to the high winds.
Police were dispatched to a residence regarding a family dispute. Police attended and spoke to a mother and daughter who had been arguing. Police helped mediate the situation.
