May 14th, 2024
Police received a Warrant of Arrest for 49-year-old Christina Behnke for failing to attend court.
May 15th, 2024
At 12:00am, police were dispatched to a local residence regarding a female causing a disturbance. Police attended to find a 16-year-female arguing and fighting. She was transported to a sober relative for the night. No charges were laid.
Police have received multiple calls regarding ongoing fraud calls in regard to real estate. Real houses that are for sale are being portrayed as for rent on other social media platforms. Please be aware of this ongoing scam and contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
May 17th, 2024
Police were dispatched to a local residence in regard to a back yard fire that had ashes and smoke blowing due to strong winds. Police advised the homeowner of the complaint and they agreed to put out the fire due to high winds.
May 18th, 2024
At 12:47am, police were dispatched to a female causing a disturbance. Police arrived to find a 36-year-old female intoxicated, yelling and smashing glass bottles in the parking lot. She was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act, lodged in police cells and later released without charges once sober.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Thornhill and Mountain Street for a vehicle collision. Police arrived on scene to find a car had collided with an electric scooter, no injuries were reported, and information was exchanged.
May 19th, 2024
At 1:00am, police were dispatched to a multi-dwelling unit for an intoxicated female yelling in the parking lot. The 36-year-old female was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and released without charges once sober.
At 1:09am, police were dispatched to a report of a fentanyl overdose at a local residence. Police arrived on scene and found the 25-year-old male was not breathing and Narcan was administered. EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital.
