November 13th, 2024

Police received a report of a fraud. The victim advised that they noticed a large sum of money charged to their credit card as well as a loan that was fraudulently attempting to be filed in the victim’s name. Police are continuing their investigation.

At 12:30pm, police received a call requesting police assistance with a male who was threatening to harm himself.  Police attended and spoke to a family member who transported the male to a healthcare facility for an assessment.

At 6:00pm, police received a call requesting police assistance with a male who was intoxicated and  threatening to harm himself.  Police attended and spoke to the male who was subsequently transported to a healthcare facility for an assessment.

Police received a report from a local establishment of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. The 54-year-old female was intoxicated and had nowhere to stay.  She was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober.  She was released without charges.

November 14th, 2024

At 1:00am, while on general patrol police observed two people intoxicated causing a disturbance. They were arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and both lodged in cells until sober. They were released without charges.

EMS requested police assist with an intoxicated male who was causing issues during a medical assessment. Once cleared by EMS the 30-year-old male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged into cells until sober. He was released without charges.

At 9:00am, police received a report of an intoxicated female walking around causing a disturbance. Police arrived and found the 54-year-old female to be highly intoxicated and was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged into cells until sober. She was released without charges.

While on general patrol police observed a male falling and stumbling into traffic. EMS was dispatched and transported the male to the hospital for assessment. Police cleared.

November 15th, 2024

At 1:00am, police were dispatched to a local establishment for an intoxicated male. Police arrived on scene and found the 31-year-old male to be causing a disturbance. He was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober. He was released without charges.

Police were dispatched to a residence where a woman was screaming and causing a disturbance. Police arrived and found a 54-year-old female highly intoxicated and the residence owners advised she was no longer allowed at the residence. She was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged into cells once sober. She was released without charges.

November 16th, 2024

EMS requested police attend a local address to assist with a male who is threatening to harm himself and who is also known to be aggressive. Police attended and transported the male to a local hospital with EMS.
