At 11:10 pm, police received a report of an intoxicated couple who were arguing on Stephen Street. Police located the couple at their residence and spoke to their adult daughter who resides with them. The male and female were highly intoxicated and arguing and had nowhere to stay. They were arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and lodged in cells until sober. They were released without charges.
At 11:50 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding an assault. Police attended and spoke to the female caller who reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her. The 32-year-old Morden resident was arrested for Assault and released on an Undertaking to attend to Morden Provincial Court in June.
