At 4:30 pm, police received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the caller’s parking spot. Police attended and determined that the vehicle was stolen out of Winnipeg. The vehicle was towed to the Morden Police station. Police are continuing their investigation.
At 6:00 pm, police were dispatched to an accident at the corner of 1st Street and Thornhill Street. A semi-trailer had knocked over the traffic lights and drove away from the area. Police located the semi and spoke to the driver who advised he was on his way back to the accident scene. No charges were laid in this incident.
At 7:35 pm, police were dispatched to a residence regarding a dog being tied up outside in the cold. Police attended and spoke to the owner. The dog had an insulated doghouse for warmth and appeared safe.
