At 6:50 am, police were dispatched to the intersection of Thornhill Street and 1st Street in regards to a two-vehicle traffic collision. The driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Impala was driving westbound on Victoria Avenue and was turning south onto Route 100 at the lights when the driver of a grey 2012 Chevrolet Equinox that was travelling eastbound entered the intersection on a red light and collided with the driver side front end causing the vehicle to spin around and deploy the airbags. Both vehicles were towed and no injuries were reported.
Morden Police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle that was driving slowly through neighbourhoods. While police were patrolling, they received a call back from the witness who stated they had spoken with the driver and was informed that the vehicle did not have winter tires and that they were unable to drive faster.
