Morden Police received a report of a wallet that was lost on February 25th. The caller stated that she accidentally left her wallet in the backseat of a taxi and when she called the company back, the wallet was no longer there. The victim was able to supply police with a list of transactions of her debit card being used at different locations in the area. As a result, a 20-year-old male and an 18-year-old female from Morden were arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fraud. Both individuals were released on Undertakings and will appear in Morden Provincial Court in May.
At 3:08 pm, police received a complaint of a male running down the sidewalk being chased by a vehicle. Police arrived on the scene and spoke with all parties involved. It was determined that this was a family dispute. There were no concerns for anyone’s safety and police cleared the scene.
