At 12:23 am, police received a report of a male that had made suicidal comments. When police arrived, they learned that the male had broken up with his girlfriend and it was determined he was not in need of police assistance. The male was left in the care of a family member.

Morden Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Stephen Street for a vehicle leaking large amounts of gas onto the street. The owner of the vehicle was contacted, and she believed that a stone may have hit the fuel tank causing it to puncture. Morden Fire and Rescue attended to assist in fuel cleanup.

At 9:00 pm, police were dispatched to Colert Beach in regards to a suspicious fire by the boat dock. Morden Fire and Rescue attended and put out the fire. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Morden Police Service at 204-822-4900. At this time police would like to remind the public that the City of Morden is currently under a fire ban during the dry conditions.
